East Detective Division is looking to identify and locate the suspect wanted for a robbery in Hartranft.
On July 22, 2014, at 2:00pm, the complainant, a 55 year-old male, was unloading merchandise from a van at Mana Food Market located at 2500 North 7th Street when the an unknown male approached him pointing a handgun at him demanding his money and cell phone. When the complainant began struggling with the suspect he was punched in his left ear. After a failed attempted at robbing the complainant, the suspect fled north on the 2500 block of 7th Street then west on Cumberland Street. No items were taken from the complainant.
Suspect Description: Black male, 5'8″, 150lbs, short full beard, dark complected, wearing a light blue t-shirt, and jeans.
