Northwest Detective Division is looking to identify and locate the suspect for a theft in East Mount Airy.
On Sunday August 31, 2014, at 11:40 pm, the complainant, a 24 year-old male, was inside the Chew Deli and Market located at 6302 Chew Avenue at the counter. When the complainant momentarily left the counter, he left his wallet behind on the top of the freezer glass when an unknown black male approaches an employee to pay for items looks down and sees the wallet, containing $420 and identification, then picks the wallet up then leaves the store in an unknown direction.
Suspect Description: Black male, early 20 years-of-age, 6’0″, thin build, medium/dark complexion, light mustache, wearing a dark blue t-shirt, with “Nautica” on the front in white letters, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
