- comingviking: I think that when a resource is either in your inventory or in a storage box at your base, it should be listed as "in inventory" when you are making stuff at the various work stations. Sifting through storage to get the resource you know for sure you have a hundred of is just annoying. Alternatively, the storage boxes could be REALLY huge. "You only need one" huge.

- Everyone in the Comments: should make a mining hat ASAP, in the crafting menu from inventory, clothing section, at the bottom. Is so much better than just the flashlights range, and can use other items in your hand instead of a light source.

- vanessa langlois: So I have a question. If loot like iron doesn't respawn, what happens when you've looted all the islands in late game? Are you screwed? Or is it kind of like 7 days where the map is so big you practically can't loot every single mineral?

- tamara gunther: GameEdged could say that,4 caves 4 pieces of cobalt.workshop schematic quest is either bugged or they have totally messed it up,I went to skull island as directed which on the map is the big island on the right spent hours looking for second town without success went to betrayal island that does have two towns searched all back rooms of stores on both islands as directed in the quest,fed up went online turns out this schematic can be anywhere absolutely annoyed now,I don’t mind quests being hard but if it takes more than an hour to complete it’s too long I have spent 4 hours on this and still haven’t found said object

- comingviking: The nail molds thing is just stupd. Nails are not molded IRL, they are forged. And if they WERE molded, a typical mold would give you a multitude of units. like 50 a pop or something. That is how you make small things in molds. IRL. I feel like the VERY competent geeks that made this game need to get off their asses and do some research in the real world. But they got the Bow and Arrow exactly right! Very credible. i approve of that. But for Bobs sake, 1 nail per mold? Please! 1 bar of iron, one unit of stone and one unit of clay gives you ONE freakin' nail?

Whew, these survivalist characters are pretty much airheads... don't know how to make a reusable mold even though they can craft incredibly complex items, don't remember names and properties of plants even though they wrote a book on the Amazon, squeamish about cutting and eating perfectly good food :-/

- Daywork11: The grind is real in this game LOL. Save the flour for a later quest, trust me. I'm on day 50 something right now and still haven't crafted nails, I just had good luck finding them in loot. If I had to restart my game, I would build near a cave. keeping up with carbs is my biggest issue.
