Grilling Burgers is a dinner favorite all around the country. Learn how to cook your burgers to perfection using a Weber Grill. Prepare your grill for direct cooking over high heat, which is great for cooking small, tender pieces of food that cook quickly.
While the grill is heating, prepare the hamburger patties. After seasoning with kosher salt and pepper, shape the burgers into 6 ounce patties that are 3/4 of an inch thick. Place the patties on the grill, close the lid, and cook for 4-5 minutes. Then check to see if the patties are ready to be flipped. You can flip the patties if you can slide them off the cooking grate without sticking. Flip the patties, close the lid, and cook 3-5 minutes more.Remove the from grill and serve on buns with your favorite toppings. Shop Weber grills at Lowe's:

- Jeffrey Richley: Just enough info to get you going. Now to experiment!
- MadJesusMinistries: Not hot enough. Open your LP tank for 30 seconds BEFORE you turn burners on. It should get hotter. It's a safety feature.
- nick85able: Trick is to cook on high heat to each side to get a nice sear then move to lower heat to cook rest of way this way you will get a nice juicy burger!!!goes for steak as well
- legodude137: dang now i'm freaking starving for burgers
- Jon Spencer: Typo Small Flame.
- MrGman2804: To cut to the chase you need to cook 4 to 5 mins each side.
- Norbo Norebo: Did you wash your hands first?
- Tyler Chalk: Spend some time time shaping up those hamburgers buddy, you need to slap that meat! Common man.
- notta3d: Damn. I thought my man was going into a nuclear reactor with those mits.
- Norbo Norebo: I skower my grates in the sink first with steel wool and rinse them well. I dont like old rancid burned grease flavoring my burgers or smoking up the yard with stinky grease smoke.

- Jon Spencer: I have a Weber Q 100. It's been so difficult to get used to such a smell flame. How long should I preheat my grill for before cooking chicken?
